Worship

"...nevertheless, to praise you is the desire of man, a little piece of your creation, You stir us to take pleasure in praising You, because You have made us for Yourself, and our heart is restless until it rests in You." -St. Augustine

In our weekend worship gatherings, we want to stress a single question:
What would your life and mine look like if we set out each day to truly live in wonder of Him?

We have been created for a great life - a life that tells the story of God. Something in particular that I am increasingly aware of on earth is the spiritual responsibility that we are given by God. He has trusted us in this blip of history and we should grow as leaders in the things of God. We have to become steadfast and immovable in our pursuit of bringing heaven to Earth. At Crossroads Church of Walton County, our weekend worship gatherings play a colossal role in bringing faith and annihilating fear in our community. A life that is grounded so deeply in the amazing reality of God just can't look the same as one that's built on puny self-centered concerns.

By making God the very center of our affection every weekend and encouraging one another to live as authentic worshipers throughout the week, we hope to make living in wonder of Him a reality. That is only real way to have a lasting impact on our community for the glory of God.

While incorporating music from today's modern worship movements as well as re-vamped hymns for their inspirational narratives, we aim to present an atmosphere in which worship is engaging and helps us to focus our attention on God.
